Honda uses R-134a and R- 1234yf as the refrigerant in their vehicles. This type of refrigerant is environmentally friendly and does not require any hazardous or poisonous byproducts when it’s being manufactured. If your Honda vehicle uses an R134a refrigerant, you’ll need to replace the entire system if there is a leak. n1tg.
